Raúl Mejia’s aka RULS (Undergroove Music, Ecliptic, Lunar Sound) first venture in electronic music was in 1999 when he created Ecliptic, one of the most internationally recognized mexican trance projects. Simultaneously, his alternative downtempo moniker Lunar Sound proved his versatility as a musician and producer. His music has been validated by Sasha, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtins, Jimmy Van M and many more.
The best way to comprehend Ruls’ style and sound is listening to it. However, it can be described as a mature and intelligent blend of deep grooves that navigate from techno to progressive to dub. On top of being the mastermind behind Undergroove Music, Ruls has developed the visual concept, musical guardianship and party production for the label. Australia, Germany, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, United States, United Kingdom and Portugal, are only a few of the countries in which Ruls has performed standing out due to his clever and dynamic sets.
His 3 years of experience as an instructor at SAE Institute México, specializing in Mix and Mastering lessons which are a strong indicative of the precision and sharpness of his sound.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.

What are you excited about this mix that people should know?
The set includes a wide range of electronic music genres that i truly enjoy, the main ideas is going on an ascending and progressive line going from 115 BPM to 123 BPM without noticing the increase in speed and musical intensity.
What can we expect from you in the near future?
At the moment I'm about to finish a compilation focused on producers from South, Central and North America including music from Mexico, Canada, USA, Argentina and Brasil to be released on Undergroove Music next month. I also have some cool upcoming gigs soon, im playing in Montreal at one of my favorite festivals out there called Eclipse Festival and im also playing in Tulum and USA.
